Product Details
The TOPCLIMBER® self-hoisting mast climber is the ideal solution for safe and efficient work at height in the mast of a sailboat. The system consists of two main components:
- Bosun’s chair with backrest and one-way jammer
- Leg straps with two loops for feet and one-way jammer
Note: A 10mm (7/16") low stretch line is required for use. This line should be at least 2 m. longer than the height of the mast. We recommend always purchasing a new line with the TOPCLIMBER®.
Use of the Best Materials
In manufacturing the TOPCLIMBER® mast climber, we use only the best materials for maximum strength and reliability:
- Belt: W43 x T1.45 mm, with a breaking load of 2300 kg, ensuring high load capacity and durability.
- TRESPA® METEON® board: Dimensions L450 x B140 x T10 mm, with a webbing strap under the board for extra stability and comfort.
- Nexus buckle: This buckle has a minimum strength of 165 kg and is equipped with a safety button for extra protection.
- Stainless steel 316 and aluminum Al-MgSi 0.5: The materials were chosen for their corrosion resistance, making them suitable for salty environments.
